A Glimpse of my 24th

Turning 24 made me feel old. It seems like yesterday when I’m only 12 and double that number and here I am. But then just like what some of us believe, age is just a number πŸ™‚ I’m looking forward to more adventures, nuggets of wisdom, new learning and worthwhile challenges.

From having lavish birthdays when I was a kid, me and my family opted to go for a simple commemoration by cooking my favorite pancit bihon (for long life) partnered with a yummy Rocky Road cake from Red Ribbon.

May 25 was a very busy day with me attending three meetings! The heavens showered a lot of blessings as well, thanks to the heavy downpour in the afternoon.

I finally bought my laptop courtesy of ipon and JP’s help (more pictures to follow) and friends gifted me with love and two of my favorite things in the world (notebooks and books, of course) πŸ™‚

It was definitely a good birthday, thanks to the people who made it extra special πŸ™‚

Thank you Lord for all the blessings and love πŸ™‚

A new book from Karen for my birthday

If I will make a list of people who call me frequently, Karen will definitely be on top of that list. It feels great to be called her friend because she is the type of person who is full of happiness and positivity (she will like this bit, I bet!). She never gets stressed and when you see her she is always energetic and giddy (especially when she’s talking about Kpop and K-dramas / except when she’s glued to the internet). For my birthday, Karen gave me a copy of The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

Whenever a friend gives me a book, I always ask them to craft a simple note to go with it. Here’s Karen’s note:

Of course this post wouldn’t be complete without Karen’s picture πŸ™‚

Thanks, Karen Bianca! πŸ˜› β™₯
