When I got my bookshelf last year, I was so happy. Happy because I can finally see my sources of happiness in one place. It has always been my dream to have my own library so I considered having a bookshelf my first step to that goal 😛
Today, I took some time to clean my shelf and fix my books. Look at my output:
I had to add bookends on top of my shelf for my latest books – most of which are gifts from friends (THANK YOU GUYS FOR SUPPORTING MY ADDICTION ❤ 🙂 )

I’ve decided to delete colorfulminiprints.blogspot.com. I don’t know if it’s just me being erratic but something about it does not feel right. (JP felt sad because he worked on the header 😦 )
So from this day forward, my instax photos can now be found in my tumblr account 🙂 I liked the colors and the outcome of my tumblog after tinkering with it for a few minutes 😛

I can’t believe I wasn’t able to post yesterday 😦 The reason: procrastination.
I was busy working on an article and like all articles, I had a hard time with the first sentence. I keep wondering why the first sentence is always hard – it’s like you have all these words and ideas but you just can’t pin it down to one sentence!
Which made me procrastinate. I surfed the internet for some inspiration – looking at celebrity hairstyles, models, anything that can help me finish the task. (Okay so I also tweeted and tweeted then watch HTC ChaCha videos in between 😛 )
The result: a nice article (according to the one who checked it) done in five hours.
FIVE HOURS. Should I be alarmed?
I just find it weird.
When you have double meaning tweets/posts OR (most especially) when you are sad — I’m always there for you.
BUT
When it’s my turn to be dramatic/emo or sad, you kind of give me the cold shoulder.
Am I being paranoid? Am I over-reacting?
Or you’re really like that as a person?

Why the name?
colorful –> because each photo is scanned against a different color per post 🙂 (as much as possible representing the person/event)
mini prints –> photos taken with my Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S
Why start another site?
– I was inspired by the blogs of my friends and at the same time, I want a special place for my Instax photos 🙂
– another writing exercise 😛
Engagement videos are becoming viral these days. One video caught my attention for two simple reasons:
1. A live performance of Up Dharma Down –> the girl’s favorite band
2. A ride in the UP Ikot/Toki Jeepney –> the couple’s Alma Mater
World Class Runner – Coach Rio dela Cruz’s proposal to his girlfriend Nicole is definitely heartwarming. I wasn’t able to control my tears after watching their video.

A blue Instax Mini 7S! 🙂 I love polaroids ever since I was a kid and the moment I learned about Fujifilm’s product, I was ecstatic! 🙂

Soon, love, soon. I won’t give up on you. I will see you – that’s for sure.
Listening to *NSYNC and The Moffatts all day in the office brings me back to the 90s – a time when my thoughts include:
1. I’m going to marry a boyband member someday
2. I hope the teacher won’t call me during graded recitation
3. What will I do if I my name is called during graded recitation
4. What to talk about with my friends during recess and lunch
5. Will I get honors this quarter
6. What time will my college crush pass by the corridor
7. Will my favorite boyband visit the Philippines
8. What will I do first when I get home: eat, sleep, watch TV or homework?
These are just some of the thoughts I can remember. Looking at the list – it’s definitely very elementary and high school! 😛 But, how I miss those days – when you worry about the simplest of things, when you give problems a shrug and that’s it.
A decade later – here I am – worrying about:
1. work
2. savings
3. bills/money
4. long-term goals and happiness
5. career
I miss being young. I miss gushing over pop idols and collecting their posters. I miss looking forward to recess and lunch – even doing homework!
But life is not like that. You can’t stay in one phase forever – we grow up, we think about more mature things, we move on to the next chapter.
Though my priorities have changed now, I still plan to keep in touch with my young and carefree self. I can still listen to my favorite songs back then and reminisce. Be happy just thinking about yesteryear.
I will forever be an NSYNC fan and a Moffatts fan ❤
